CREATE WITH JOY
Create is such a fun word. There are so many ways to create using all kinds of materials. You can draw pictures with pen, pencil or markers. You can paint with watercolor or acrylics and more. Whatever you choose you can create with joy.

This past week I have had lots of grandchildren in the house. One day all 13 of them were here! They range in age from 4 to almost 13. The older girls loved to help with cooking and made cupcakes one day. All of the kids enjoy crafting with paper, scissors and crayons.
I like to create with words and art as shown in my blog title. Since my grandchildren were here I have not had much time to write or blog, but I sure have enjoyed watching them create.

Almost every day they went outside to pick blueberries or play with the dogs.
They pretend while making their own little worlds in Minecraft. They showed me some of their work and I was impressed. My 5 year old grandson, Cameron, loves to draw and he was busy making little puppets most every day.

God is the Master Creator
God, the master creator, has given us all an ability to create, each in our own way. His handiwork often inspires me. Tonight I captured these photos of the moon and its reflection in the pool.

Sounds like a fun (and creative) week! I love the picture in the background of your site – one of my favorite things is to look up into the trees and see all the different patterns of the leaves against the sky. Stopping by from FMF…nice to meet you!

Thanks, Katy! It was a fun, creative and somewhat tiring week. But it was a good kind of tired. What a joy to have family around! I love looking at the trees and sky, too. 🙂 Blessings! Nice to meet you, too!
Gayl, sounds like they all had fun and memories will last lifelong! A sure mix for success!
Yes, Joanne, I think they did mostly have fun. I love making memories with my grandchildren. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! Blessings to you!
I love this grand-baby news, and aspire to be THAT kind of grandmother. Our little treasure will be 2 this fall, so we’re almost ready for the crafting-with-gram dates! FUN!
Thanks for your support, Michele! Grandchildren are so much fun even if I do get tired. 🙂 It was hard to say goodbye this morning to my daughter and family who are on their way back to IL. Blessings to you!
I love to create too. God gave each of us unique gifts to use to celebrate His creation and to create new things to honor Him. Your reflection pictures are stunning. I love taking pictures too. Seeing yours makes me want to go out and take pictures right now. So glad you had a week of time with your grandchildren. Blessings on the upcoming week.
Thanks, Mary! I’m glad my photos inspired you, and I’m glad you love to create. I’ve seen some of your photos and they are lovely! Hope you have a wonderful week. Blessings to you!
What a blessed summer you are having with your grandchildren, Gayl! Your moon shots are great!
Yes, June, it’s been wonderful! Thanks for stopping by and always giving encouragement! Blessings to you!
God is indeed the master creator. Sounds like you’ve been busy. 13 grandchildren…..wow! I’m in the 51 spot this week.
Thanks for visiting, Tara! Yep, it was a busy but very fulfulling week. 🙂 Blessings to you!
Gayl, I’m firmly convinced that the act of creating and being creative is one way to fight against our Enemy, who loves to destroy.
What a gift you have for building up your grandkids.
(and your blog site is lovely. I haven’t visited for awhile…it looks new 🙂
I think you are right, Jody, about creativity being one way to fight against the enemy. Thank you so much for your encouraging comments!
This is a new blog. My former one with blogger is still up, but I’m not writing much there. I have edited a few former posts and republished them here.
Thanks for visiting! Glad you were here. Blessings to you!
Looks like you have your hands full Gayle! I know my mother loves having all her 11 grandkids around. I absolutely love blueberries! I use them in my smoothies, on my oatmeal and in my Greek yogurt!
I don’t know how she does it but the joy on her face when her grandchildren are around is priceless! Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life today. You are blessed indeed. I hope you have a fabulous week and may God continue to richly bless you and yours!

I probably love blueberries as much as you do. LOL I also put them in pancakes and I make a coffee cake called blueberry buckle. My family loves it.
