Welcome to Day 1 of #write31days. My theme is 31 Days to a Healthier Lifestyle. Each day I’ll share a bit from some of the categories I mentioned in my introductory post. Walk is the prompt for the #FMF Write 31 Days, but that is something I did not do today except for the normal walking I do each day.
I have heard that taking a walk is not only good exercise but also refreshes your mind. In my experience I find that to be true. When the weather is comfortable I love to walk either around the property or in our neighborhood.
Just being out in nature is a balm to my spirit. Looking around at the sky and trees, hearing the birds and insects and finding beauty usually gives me inspiration for writing. It’s a great stress reliever.
aking a walk with a friend or family member is even better unless you just need some alone time. If that is the case it’s a perfect time to pray or think deep thoughts. It’s great if you can work a walk into your daily schedule.

Exercise report for Day 1:
(My exercise routine was actually started a week early, but I’m reporting it here.)
I did my T-Tapp 15 minute workout at noon. Boy am I out of shape! It was hard and my legs are now sore. But I also have a good feeling about it. It’s one part of my plan to have a healthier body. I know if I am consistent it will get easier.
