BOUQUETS OF FLOWERS
Who doesn’t love bouquets of flowers! There’s nothing like having a vase full of brightly colored flowers to put a smile on my face. May this collection from my flower photos help bring you cheer today. The #5MFW word for Day 27 is bouquet.
On Day 27 of #write31days, we were in the car for several hours traveling from SC to KY. I was not looking forward to the ride, because I didn’t feel that great. For a few days I was bothered with a sinus headache, and wasn’t as prepared for the trip as I would have liked. After a bit we stopped at a grocery store to pick up a few snacks.
Would you believe the first thing I saw was a beautiful, colorful bouquet of flowers? I don’t remember what kinds they were, but the colors were rich. The bright blue and yellow jumped out at me right away. Just looking at those flowers cheered me up, and I almost bought them. I would have if we had not been traveling. There was no good place in the car to keep them fresh.
BED AND BREAKFAST
Our trip that day ended at a lovely Bed & Breakfast where we were warmly welcomed. The next morning we were fed a delicious breakfast. I think it fit well in keeping with my healthy lifestyle theme. We had moderate amounts of everything but enough to make us content. It consisted of sliced strawberries, orange juice, bacon and pancakes served with maple syrup made by our hosts from their farm. There was fruit, juice, bacon and pancakes served with maple syrup made by our hosts.

Nearing the End of the #write31days Challenge
How is everyone doing as we near the end of our challenge? If you’re like me you’re probably thinking you’ll never finish. Kudos to those who have already finished. You’ve earned a break. Of course, now that you’re done you can cheer the rest of us on. Right?
These last few days I’m going back over the categories in my introductory post. So far I’ve used Food and Work. Today I want to review Exercise.
After the first two weeks I slacked off from my 15 minute exercise routine. Instead, I’ve been trying to walk every day, because the weather has been great. Gardening also gives me a little exercise. Yesterday the only exercise I did was a few hoedowns after dinner. That was about all I felt like after the long car ride. I try to do some hoedowns every day, too.
So, all in all, I’m pretty satisfied that I am doing more exercise than before I started 31 Days to a Healthier Lifestyle. Am I where I want to be yet? No, absolutely not, but I will keep plugging along. To keep myself accountable, I might give weekly or bi-weekly updates here on the blog. Now would be a good time for me to review my blog and set up schedules. It might just help me stay on track.
