Stress: A Hindrance to a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Life
My life is busy, and I’m sure yours is, too. Many of us don’t take enough time to rest and relax during the day. We just want to do one more thing, write one more page, clean one more area in our home, finish the […]
Sweat, Heat and Spending Time Outdoors
We need heat, but sometimes it becomes extreme. God created our bodies to have a way of cooling down by using sweat. In my three haiku, heat and sweat seem to be opponents, but in reality both are important. Heat and Sweat Summer […]
Hearts Full of Love Will Overflow

Love and Light Bring Hope to the World
This week’s weekly haiku challenge at Ronovan Writes are the words Love & Light. With so much pain and darkness in the world, these prompt words inspire hope. I wasn’t quite ready to write on Monday when the prompts came out. Sometimes it takes a while for […]
Kindness Goes a Long Way
It’s time for Twittering Tales again, where Kat Myrman shares a photograph. Then we write a tale in 140 characters or less inspired by the photo. I will share my three tales and then some thoughts about life, death and showing kindness. […]
Nature Can Give Rest and Inspire Poetry
Tonight I have been busy at work writing more poetry from the online Nature Magnetic Poetry Kit. The first shows how nature can help us rest and at the same time inspire poetry. The second one celebrates love and the poetry it inspires. [bctt tweet=”Each stanza […]
