Spring and a Beach Vacation

SPRING

Can you believe we are into March already? Spring will be here before we know it.

As I sit here pondering what to write, I’m reminded that God is faithful.

Spring always comes after winter, then summer, fall and back to winter. After winter, spring comes again and so on. The cycle repeats, and each season is necessary for the good of our world.

It even looks like spring in my yard!

My husband and I were in Florida last week, and the temperatures almost felt like summer. The beach was delightful for walking and wading. We saw some birds and other items of interest as we walked along.

Here’s a little video to share a little of what we enjoyed last week. I hope it helps you to feel refreshed and relaxed.

I am thankful for our vacation and for the time with family, but I am also thankful to be back home. I’m thrilled to be joining Mary again as a co-host to Literacy Musing Monday and look forward to reading your contributions. May you each be blessed as you go through your week.

May we all find beauty and peace and be thankful.

  1. Gayl, I loved listening to the waves this morning and thinking about the warm sun. It is cold where I am at. Thank you for featuring my post this week. My hope is it will speak to many.

  2. Dear Gayl,
Oh, thank you so much for the feature of my post here from last week! I am actually teary-eyed here, since Gina and Sean are on their way to Guyana today! What a sweet reminder from the Lord, that He is watching over every detail! We can trust His working and His guiding all along the way! And I loved your video of the beach today, Gayl! Such a soothing moment in the midst of the morning. Much love, hugs, and blessings to you my friend! xoxo

    1. Your post had the most clicks last week and it was so good! I know it’s hard to let them go, but you know they are in His hands. 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoyed the beach video! Blessings to you and much love! xoxo

  3. As I’m currently curled up on my couch because of a snow day, spring seems pretty far away. Glad you had a great trip.

  4. I love Florida so much. I haven’t been to the beach yet this year but I look forward to going at some point. Nothing scheduled yet though.

    1. Yes, we always enjoy our time on the Gulf coast of FL. Each year we visit my husband’s siblings and have a sort of reunion. Hope you get your time at the beach! It’s so refreshing. Blessings to you!

  5. Gayl I truly love the ocean and feel like you gifted me a mini visit. So glad you got to get away and experience! Awesome on the team work with Mary. You know books are my thing too haha. Combine outdoors, books, and some birds singing and it is a piece of Heaven on Earth.

    1. I’m so glad it was like a mini visit for you, Meghan! That was my intention, to give people a taste and hope it refreshed them. 🙂
Thanks for visiting and totally agree with your comment about “Heaven on Earth.” Blessing to you, my dear friend! xo
