In Awe Worship God, Love Life And Enjoy Creation

Come and see the wonders of God; his acts for humanity are awe-inspiring.
~ Psalm 66:5 CSB

IN AWE WORSHIP GOD

Our God really is an awesome God. He is omniscient and omnipresent, yet near and involved in our world and in our lives. He not only created but is sustaining it, all by His own power. We worship and praise Him because He is worthy. When we think of God and notice the beauty of creation with all the intricate details, we can’t help but be in awe.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

ENJOY CREATION

I am privileged to live in a rural area where the view from my front porch is beautiful. And it doesn’t matter what season or what kind of weather. It is enjoyable to sit on my porch and just take in the beauty. Clouds are always changing. Sometimes the sky is the deepest blue without a cloud in sight. And other times it’s overcast but the view is still awe-inspiring.

be in awe of creation
My porch swing is a favorite place to sit, watch and listen to the sounds of nature
Clouds and rainbows, hills full of trees
Sunshine and shadow on a porch swing
Pink impatiens blooming in pots
Deep blue petunias dotted with white
A midnight sky twinkling with stars
So much beauty in my front porch view
Inspires me to creativity

BE IN AWE
A sunny day front porch view with a poem I wrote using an online magnetic poetry kit
Celebrate with ferocious joy
Embrace the perfumed morning breeze
Explore the brilliant dazzling end of night
Remember secret childlike magic as you
See a delicious picture window universe

Listen with your heart
Drink in liquid laughter
Linger slow and long
Bring home healing and peace

LOVE LIFE

The one who pursues righteousness and faithful love

will find life, righteousness, and honor.

Proverbs 21:21 CSB

Life is meant to be enjoyed. I don’t mean we have to be happy-go-lucky, always smiling and never be discouraged or disappointed. We don’t know what a day may bring, but we do know that God has promised never to leave us completely on our own. His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

As I trust in God, knowing He loves me with an everlasting love, I don’t have to be afraid. If I keep my focus on God and not myself or my circumstances, I need not worry. Instead, I can pursue creative interests, reach out to others to show love and encouragement and much more. There is freedom to enjoy life, to find beauty in the smallest things and to have peace. Nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

Lord, you are my strength and shield
Keep me ever by Your side
Lord, to You my life I yield
You will always be my guide

Lord, Your Word will light my way
Keep me ever true to You
Lord, I look to You each day
You have made my heart brand new

Lord, I praise Your holy name
Keep me as Your loving child
Lord, You've freed me from all shame
You have marked me reconciled

Lord, I come before You now
Keep me in Your truth and grace
Lord, with gratitude I bow
You are worthy of all praise
